Güzelyurt kökenlilerden memnuniyet mesajı

 The so-called “Mayor of Omorfo (Güzelyurt)” Viktoras Haciavraam said that the people of Güzelyurt origin are happy with the initiatives taken against those interested in the construction and real estate sector in the TRNC.

According to Fileleftheros, Hadjiavraam met with Ecologists President Yorgos Perdikis on Tuesday. The Cyprus issue was discussed at the meeting, which was also attended by Ecologists Movement Cyprus Issue Committee member Michalis Yeorgiadis and Nicosia Secretary Loizos Dimitriu.

In a written statement made by the ecologists, it was stated that during the meeting held on the occasion of the so-called “taking over of duty by the new municipal council”, there was an exchange of views on the structural development observed in the Güzelyurt region in recent years.

Perkidis explained the activities of the Ecologists Movement regarding the development of former Greek properties in the TRNC.

Perdikis, who also said that a large group of Turkish Cypriots had joined the Ecologists Movement, explained that they were carrying out “enlightenment” activities on the Cyprus issue by highlighting property rights within the framework of international law in Europe.

Haciavraam said, “We congratulate the Ecologists for their initiative regarding the serious issue of Greek Cypriot property theft.”
