Uluslararası Final Üniversitesi, tanıtıcı kültürel geziler düzenlemeye devam ediyor
Uluslararası Final Üniversitesi, 2025-2026 akademik yılında üniversite hayatına başlayan yeni öğrencileri için Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’ni tanıtıcı kültürel geziler düzenlemeye devam ediyor. Bu kapsamda gerçekleştirilen etkinliklerin ilk durağı, tarihi ve doğal güzellikleriyle öne çıkan Girne oldu.
Öğrenciler, gezi programı kapsamında kentin simgeleri arasında yer alan Girne Kalesi, Liman Bölgesi ve çevredeki önemli tarihi mekânları ziyaret etme fırsatı buldu. Ayrıca, Girne Zeytin Festivali’ni ziyaret ederek, bölgenin kültürel geleneklerini yakından deneyimlediler. Bu etkinlik, sadece tarihi güzellikleri değil, aynı zamanda gelenekselleşen festivalleri de tanıma imkânı sundu.
Akademik uyum sürecine katkı sağlamanın yanı sıra, öğrencilerin Kuzey Kıbrıs’ın sosyal ve kültürel yaşamını daha yakından tanımaları amaçlanan geziler, aynı zamanda farklı ülkelerden gelen öğrenciler arasında kaynaşmayı da destekledi.
Üniversite yetkilileri, bu tür etkinliklerin öğrencilerin yalnızca akademik değil, sosyal ve kültürel açıdan da gelişimlerine katkı sunduğunu vurgularken; programın ilerleyen haftalarında Kuzey Kıbrıs’ın farklı şehir ve bölgelerinin de tanıtılacağı belirtildi.
Final International University Introduces New Students to Northern Cyprus through Cultural Excursions
Final International University continues to organize cultural excursions for its newly enrolled students of the 2025-2026 academic year, aiming to introduce them to the unique history and culture of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The first stop of these activities was Kyrenia, a city renowned for its rich history and natural beauty.
During the excursion, students had the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks such as the Kyrenia Castle, the Harbor District, and other significant historical sites in the area. Additionally, they visited the Kyrenia Olive Festival, immersing themselves in the region’s cultural traditions. This event provided an opportunity to experience not only the historical landmarks but also the long-standing cultural festivals of the area.
These activities not only support students’ adaptation to academic life but also help them engage more deeply with the cultural and social fabric of Northern Cyprus. They also foster interaction among students from different countries.
University officials emphasized that such programs contribute to students’ holistic development — academically, socially, and culturally. They also highlighted that future excursions will cover other cities and regions of Northern Cyprus, offering students a broader perspective on the island’s heritage and lifestyle.
